NOVA Series will include 5 races total both from DCB Fall events and the first 5 MBAA races. Point system is in the Rules listed below and in the rules link.
MBAA and NOVA have created a partnership for 2010 to help Youth Cycling grow in Arizona. When you sign up to become a NOVA member for $20, you will also get an MBAA racing license and $5 off each MBAA entry fee. This is a great opportunity for all new comers and will give the opportunity for riders 18 years and younger to compete both for the MBAA overall championship series along with NOVA's championship series overall.
NOVA Member Benefits now include:
NOVA members will use MBAA "permanent" plates for the MBAA cross-country series
Each NOVA member will save $5.00 on an MBAA race entry.
All NOVA/MBAA members will be eligible for the MBAA Point Series, assuming they met all other requirements for placing in the series.
MBAA will submit the results of the MBAA cross country race events to USA Cycling for ranking purposes.
